FASTIGI was founded in 2002 in the form of a Consortium, by bodies such
as the "La Sapienza" Faculty of Engineering of Rome, ENEA, Autostrade per l'Italia SpA and
other public and private partners.
The social aim is training, scientific and technological research, engineering applied to
infrastructures and tunnels and high-level training in the infrastructural sector.
At the end of 2010 the Consortium established the FASTIGI Foundation to enhance its cultural
and educational vocation, research, non-profit. Since the foundation of the Foundation,
Webtechnet has been responsible for the first corporate website until its release in 2008,
for the various digital marketing activities, but above all for the e-learning platform.
From an agreement signed between the FASTIGI Foundation and the "La Sapienza" Faculty of Engineering of Rome in 2008, the first course cycle for the training of Security Managers in the Galleries was created in compliance with the Ministerial Decree of 28/10/2005. courses are used in e-learning, e-learning or teledidattica means the opportunity to learn using the internet. This allows you to follow the lessons even to those who present difficulties in the classroom.
The new web presence, addressed to the company and the experts of the sector, presents various self-managing sections in complete autonomy including the section publications, conferences, news, content. The section 'Publications' is entirely managed by FASTIGI and allows the company to publish independently all company news: PUBLICATIONS, ARTICLES, ACTS, INTERESTING DOCUMENTS made available to users. The EVENTS function allows users to register online for events organized by the Foundation. In the RESERVED AREA it is possible to download documentation of particular importance for shareholders in addition to the communications readings (board meetings, meetings, memorandum for members).
The courses are mainly aimed at professionals in the sector. Once registered, access is via credentials provided. All stages of online e-learningare scrupulously monitored. At the end of the lessons, statistics and final results are provided. The first cycle of courses published in 2015 saw the preparation of 120 lessons organized in different didactic modules. Webtechnet has organized video, editing and post production in the project up to the creation of the e-learning platform.
